Position Description:(primary functions)
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical or Computer Engineering Technology or Associate Degree in stated fields and three years of industrial work experience or Advanced Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate and five years of industrial work experience.
- Considerable experience working with associates at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to interact with business and industry professionals to keep training material current with business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Certified Production Technician and Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician Certificate programs including training, coaching, leading projects, and supporting participants.
- Partnering with Career Technical Degree Programs for mutual benefit of both programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for class schedules, training materials and student enrollment.
- Use training simulators (provided) and experience to develop manufacturing and maintenance
skills including:
- Blueprint Reading
- Advanced Manufacturing Principles
- Precision Measuring Instruments
- Calculations and Conversions
- Quality Tools/SPC
- Quality Systems
- Hydraulics/Pneumatics
- PLC Systems
- Industrial Electricity and Electronics
- Motor Control Systems
- Milling/Machining
- CNC Machining
